Welcome to the White River Golf Club!

The word "idyllic" best describes this regulation 9 hole golf course. The combination of Vermont's Green Mountains and the meandering White River beneath them, provide a perfect natural setting for golf.

Unlike many golf courses, we encourage our golfers to bring their families, and there is no bettter place for the up and coming young golfer to learn the game. Informality is emphasized at our club, and the laid back atmoshpere will provide an enjoyable experience for the entire family.

If you're looking for accommodations, ask about our "stay and play" package in the executive suite, (formally our full time residence). Janie and I have refurbished an old cottage and have left our cozy apartment behind. This 1200 square foot apartment offers 2 bedrooms (each with fireplace) oak hardwood floors, spacious living room with bar, dining area, and private bath. Our 1000 square foot deck provides the perfect spot to chill out at the end of the day with your favorite cocktail and watch the sun set over the golf course. The Green Mountains provide a backdrop to one of the most beautiful settings Vermont has to offer.

Golfers most commonly define the White River Golf Club as a "fun place" to play golf, so COME PLAY IN OUR BACK YARD!

With all due respect to Mark Twain, golfing at White River is definitely a good walk NOT spoiled!
